Abandoned dogs are a part of life for folks living in the country. The pup left at the mailbox of the ranch in “Old Blue” has a hard battle to fight if he is to win acceptance from the home’s owners. If he can’t prove his worth, he becomes just one more mouth to feed and a burden on a family already pushed to the limit.
