Vulnerable members of the Eximium—supernaturals—are disappearing. When a fugitive werejackal leads Lexa and her vampire partner, Etienne, to a secret lab where supernaturals are unwilling subjects in genetic experimentation, they uncover a sinister conspiracy implicating the very leaders she’d considered her allies.
