When Hearts Touch

When hearts touch, sparks fly. Archie MacLean's heart touches that of Jennifer Andrews. He is African American and she is Asian American. Their good friends, Shenandoah Highwater and Moonbeam Running Deer, are Native Americans from different tribes, and are married to each other. When Moonbeam is pulled over by a racist, rogue cop, sparks of a different kind fly. Shenandoah is wounded and the cop is arrested. Hearts touch again when Moonbeam is given a case of two women who are married to a bigamist who flees the country. She counsels a client whose partner is stealing from him. Archie and Shenandoah find evidence. The partner is eventually killed in a drug deal gone wrong. But in the end the touching hearts cause beautiful, multi-colored sparks to fly.
