From Detective to Fae Queen

Selena Hawke's life is already complicated. Much to her horror, she has been made the new queen of the Unseelie Court (and all the Fae serving it), a position she tried desperately to hand over to someone—anyone—else. it's her job to ease the tension between the high courts of Fae.

But everything goes from bad to far worse when two of her closest friends are attacked in her home during a visit and left for dead. Someone has taken their two-year-old son, and Selena must pull together all of her police training, while dodging suspicion herself, and Fae contacts and training (with both factions already all but at each other's throats and ready for war) to find the remaining Black Druids before they can use the child to open the gates to Hell.

And as if that were not trouble enough—a lover from a whole other lifetime has returned. His only desire is Selena Hawke, and he's very willing to do anything he can to win back her affections… and finding out she's not available is enough to push him past his carefully maintained limits.
