Rainy Day

Life hasn’t exactly been going my way lately, I’m depressed, my freelance gig isn’t paying my rising bills and the job market is a joke. The only position I can find is at a dead end, soul sucking returns center; a place that churns out employees like a wood chipper. All I want to do is finish this dreadful day, curl up in bed, and relax. Instead, I get a thunderstorm, a dead car battery, and a shorted-out phone.
Fortunately, an attractive co-worker comes to my rescue… one who soon proves my luck is turning around.
