English Professor and reluctant sleuth, Bevyn Jones is invited to a mystery retreat weekend in the country. He barely has time to breath the fresh morning air when someone sends him a text message, urging him to meet at the boathouse. He finds an open door and a few second later he is launched into a real murder mystery of a very nude blond, white female. The twist is that the guests are led to believe the murder is just part of the weekend. Under the foil, Bevyn joins forces with police Chief Murray and officer Roy to find the killer.

Dressed as Sherlock Holmes, Bevyn searches for clues to help solve the crime. Along the way, he meets Jennifer, a detective with undeniable skills dressed as Miss Scarlett and he butts heads with Bob, the mystery retreat weekend manager who continues to stage murders during the investigation in the name of customer service. Another dead body turns up in an abandoned mansion room with no signs of visible trauma. The number of suspects grows as does the confusion with so many people dressed in costume and following a role.
