This is a true story about the love,trust and understanding between a lonely little girl and a pony.

It is about deep friendship and loyalty that lived on forever.

And a promise that was made and honoured.

It’s also about understanding the true needs of a pony which are often not met in our modern world,

Rose Gordon has a deep love and respect for animals, especially horses. For the last 28 years she has worked in Animal Welfare, as both a veterinarian and farrier in the townships, squatter camps and coal yards in South Africa and Lesotho.
