Sibling Seed

A dark children's story where a strange bookseller, Mr. Finny, tells the young, Jane Taylor, she can grow a sibling from something that looks like a package of bubble gum. The small girl becomes curious and takes home her prize. Without telling anyone, she discovers she has a green thumb. A special garden with a mystery all its own appears when Jane discovers her magical aptitude. The bookseller warns her that magic can exact a steep price.
