The Test Of Courage

Lewueri turned round to look behind him and was jolted by what he saw. For standing just a few paces from where he stood and clearly visible was the outline of the massive body of a big buffalo. The long curve of its back spread out to the bushes behind it. Its cold round eyes stared directly at him from among the leaves of Olmisigiyoi tree. The animal stood upright, very still like a mountain in almost deafening silence.
The buffalo was unmoving and its cold stare was unnerving sending a cold chill down Lewueri’s spine. The whole place was enveloped by an eerie silence and Lewueri wondered what he was going to do.....
