Lincoln and his sister Kia didn’t believe in ghosts - after all why should they - they lived in an age of reason and on a brightly lit street completely devoid of terror, but when an old property once owned by the enigmatic ghost hunter Maggy D’laney becomes due for demolition they decide to visit the old place just one last time as a dare - a decision that changes their beliefs when they discover something unique hidden beneath the floor and possibly the reason why local breakers yard ‘Scar face Tommy’s’ has become the center of some very strange goings on - notably after a somewhat unusual cargo is delivered – a black hearse, a vehicle that breaks all the yards rules and one ‘Scar Face Tommy’ seems to know very little about.

As Kia, Lincoln and Evan are pulled further into the mystery they’re given an old diary belonging Wilfred Blackwell, a local undertaker. Found stitched inside the bag of the criminal, Harry price, the diary tells of a strange and somewhat unbelievable account of an autumn night in 1947 at Borely Hall – a property believed to be ‘The Most Haunted House in England’ which burnt down under very suspicious circumstance in the 1940’s.

Piecing together events, past and present, leads them back to England – 1945 - the ‘Second World War’ where they discover the secret of the last Storm Glass, a beautiful and rather unique barometer and the perfect place for ghosts to hide – and the secret of why you should never open one until you’re sure of exactly what’s inside - because you never know what might just leap out of the shadows and into our world…..
