Intermediate German Vocabulary

This intensive vocabulary builder is addressed to intermediate learners of German who would like to diversify their vocabulary. Terms and expression are selected from the 1500-3000 frequency range, which is the intermediate one.

Each piece of vocabulary is embedded in at least three sentences or phrases, and whenever possible, different meanings or related expressions are also illustrated. The vocabulary lessons are interspersed with concise but essential reminders of German grammar.

At the end of each study session, readers are advised to write down the terms or expressions they found most difficult to retain, together with the associated sentences, and re-read them the next day, before starting a new session.
