The Apothecary's Wife

The year is 1810. Anne has boarded the ship, Mary, for a voyage from England to America with her husband, the apothecary, John Parker. Anne was born The Gardener's Daughter and has graduated from being Miss Moser's Student. As a newlywed wife, she faces the journey with some trepidation. When disaster does befall her, she finds she must once again enter a new life in a new place with an unknown future. What is different this time is that she is not completely alone.
