The AI files is a brief data selection from an ancient, unfinished journey.
Pilot Novars commands the Andromeda Mission on its return journey to the human habitat words in the Milky Way Galaxy. His only company is the mission Artificial Intelligence who communicates directly with his mind through a nano-tech interface. Novars is millions of years old. He no longer wanders the vast Habitat Complex deep inside the immense asteroid called the Rock. Time has deleted lifetimes of memories from Novars, but he visits the past in memories recorded as data files. Long ago there was a second crew member. For millennia an enemy kept the two humans apart, an artificial enemy whom he still battles.
