Capturing Beauty

For most of her life, Jay W. MacIntosh (born Janet Tallulah Jewell) has loved flowers. As a little girt, she planted flowers while her mother planted vegetable. She picked flowers when her mother harvested carrots and lettuce and squash. As she grew older, she knew homes with fresh flowers; hedges with flowers; empty lots with jonquils and narcissus. In later life, she began photographing roses. This book is a selection of her favorites. The photos and quotes capture the beauty.
