When the last of Sharolyn's three sons became 21 years old she looked at her married life's accomplishments: she had been a devoted and loving wife, a caring and nurturing mother, a household manager, and volunteer community leader. With the main purpose in her life gone, she panicked. She looked ahead to the next thirty years, and the emptiness in her marriage and life became unbearable.
