The Other Child

This is the life story of Amanda Samms. She was born in a Mental Institution in 1974 and given up for adoption. The Catholic couple that adopted her had already adopted a boy two years earlier. This is her struggle with an alcoholic parent, a severely bullied older brother and her own drinking and drug use. After having witnessed her brother\'s 1st two suicide attempts at a young age and dealing with a pathological lying alcoholic mother, Amanda turns to self-abuse.
