Three OClock

In 1994, a 23 year old Mariano flees Cuba on a makeshift raft. After having to do the unthinkable at sea, killing to survive, he is rescued after three days and sent to Guantanamo Bay. He eventually makes the US where he meets Sabel, an American graduate student. Not speaking the same language they begin a primitive, heart pounding affair that lasts 20 years. But Mariano is tormented by mad visions from the past, a wild life on the streets and after enduring boxing's ruthless business he develops schizophrenia and tragically Sabel has to let him go.
