COMING OUT OF THE COCOON

I remember, when I was a young Christian, how I wished somebody would tell me, in a practical way, how to apply the doctrines of the Word to my everyday life. It seemed that all the teaching and books were on doctrine, which was wonderful and needed – however, I wanted badly to know how to make it work effectively and become what Jesus wanted me to be in my life. This book takes the two verses in Romans 12:1-2 and makes a practical application of them in our daily walking, talking, working, family living, praying, and studying lives. I have shared what the Lord has shown me about what happened when I was born again and how daily growth really takes place in us as we renew our minds through taking in the Word of God – and, thus, become transformed – totally different than just 'trying really hard to do everything right'. I believe this is really GOD'S WAY OF BECOMING TRANSFORMED!! This book also includes a Study Guide, which is helpful for small groups.
