Abigail Whitby is introduced as a recent widow of a Methodist Minister with a knack for crossword puzzles, a love for mystery novels, and too much time on her hands. She sets out to discover the origins of an unknown masterpiece painting, meddle in her daughter's martial affairs, and solve a puzzling bank robbery all in the same week. 'The Hidden Masterpiece' is story woven with life's experiences grounded in a steadfast faith in God and the human condition. It's a story of love built on the foundation for the caring of others as well as a lesson in forgiving grace. Abigail's adventure takes her from the jungles of the equatorial tropical forest to the cobblestone streets of a medieval Polish city in her search for the truth and her lost past. In the end she finds that solving mysteries isn't nearly as satisfying as discovering herself after a lifetime of secrets and deception.
