Those beginning principles Clay embraced as he considered a career in professional baseball while in college, which quickly turned into a career in business when the shot at a baseball career came "too late" for him.
Fast forward in his life, he became a married father of four who finds that the "family plan" that he was following was not leading him to a prosperous life. His marriage was headed to divorce, financial struggles were abounding and he felt he wasn't giving his children the attention they needed.
Yet Clay saw the dire situations lead him back to his biblical roots and to an awareness that the life lessons he learned from childhood had transitioned into biblical principles he can offer to others.
Now a grandfather and happily married to second wife Diane, Clay wants to bestow these principles he learned to future generations facing desperate times in America today.
