Cocky

My friends, Matthew and Jacob, were constantly trying to set me up. The latest attempt, with an attorney who wasn't interested in me anymore than I was interested in him, was a complete waste of my time -- until I saw HIM across the room. He looked arrogant and bored, and after a quick introduction I realized that he was every bit as cocky as he looked.

After trading insults, we somehow wound up at his hotel, where he showed me just how cocky he could be...
