Pan-Africanism and Back to Africa in the 19th Century

There is a lot of discussion on Pan-Africanism and the Back to Africa Movement. Few engaged in the debates actually have an historical understanding of either. Here is a short, very interesting read that provides a great historical overview of Pan-Africanism and the Back to Africa Movement. Do we understand the movements and the historical people, famous and well-known in their times, who were the predecessors of the Honorable Marcus Mosiah Garvey and the UNIA? This is about 30 pages of a great read for a student or activists who is trying to gain a sound understanding of the events and people who shaped a lot of African American leadership thought that has come down to the present day. The format is rough, but this is an awesome historical read!!!
