Grinding Gears

In a Post-Apocalyptic world forced into a new Victorian Age, adventuress Penny Fox has fallen in love with Jack Hazard, a special agent for the Dragon Seekers, a secret society dedicated to driving the monsters of darkness back into the hell that spawned them. Chasing after a diabolical baroness together, Jack rescues Alice Wright, an old flame and the niece of the duchess heading the Dragon Seekers Society. Very quickly, Penny's dreams of a romantic future together are dashed. Cast aside and believing herself forgotten, she flees into the native Hindustani kingdom of Malisore in hopes of salvaging at least her budding future as a field operative. Too late, she realizes she's walked into a nasty trap. While trying to escape, she prays Jack will come rescue her. If not, she will lose far more than his love.
