Once in a Lifetime

The stories of separated immigrants' children who studied assiduously to become worthy of their lost love and their attempts to find and unite with them. Nancy and Michael grew up together and became very close. At the age of ten they were separated. At their farewell they promised to wait to marry only each other. It became embedded in their subconscious. During their development from childhood to adulthood they constantly experienced flashbacks of happy times spent together. Slowly their flashbacks became less and less. Their parents were worried that they were not starting their own families and manipulated the confrontation of Michael and Nancy by inviting Michael to be the houseguest of Nancy's father. Michael and Nancy met after twenty-two years. After misgivings, skepticism and uncertainty their love for each other was too much to suppress and carry any longer and their love exploded ... Roger and Caroline met in college and fell in love. They were brutally separated by her parents but their love for each other survived a quarter of a century but they found each other and became united. Other couples became united and looked forward to a life of love.
