The purpose of this course is to provide mental health professionals with an appreciation of the benefits of mindfulness approaches and tools so they may safely and effectively incorporate mindfulness into clinical practice. 5. Compare and contrast various approaches to mindful meditation, including seated, walking, yoga, and dancing styles.
6. Evaluate the use of mindfulness in the treatment of anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
7. Describe how mindfulness techniques may be used in continuing care.
