Doppelganger

In the tradition of Captain Corelli's Mandolin comes a two-tiered family saga with a modern story concerning ace reporter Rudy Styne, who runs into his double while tracking a master computer hacker in Munich, and a back story about Elias and Simon Maxwell, two Jewish brothers struggling to build a prestigious airline in Bavaria in the early 1900's. Simon enters early aerial competitions, but finds himself representing Germany in the Great War along with ace pilots like the Red Baron and his boyhood friend, Hermann Göring, as they fight the very French and British colleagues he had raced just two years before.
