On November 7th, 1919, Bartow Grover Nix, was hanged for a double murder in Columbus, Georgia. And those weren't the only people he had killed. Like many great tragedies, the story is not as clear-cut as it would seem on paper. Questions continue concerning the prosecution of this case. Was it done properly? Was Nix even sane? Nearly a century later, Bartow's great nephew, Jeffrey Nix, reviewed the case with the fresh eyes and understanding of the present generation.
