A Dinosaur Primer is designed to be a concise introduction to the evolutionary relationships of the major groups of dinosaurs. The book also touches on the history of the study of dinosaurs, their biology and behavior, the origin of birds, and dinosaurs in our modern culture. Dinosaurs may be extinct (excluding their theropod descendants the birds), but their diversity and details of their unique adaptations can still capture our imagination.
