This book is prose, poetry, and prayers written with no other purpose in mind than to provoke thought, self-evaluation, and a recognition of history as the greatest teacher any man ever had. Biblical, archaeological, and political history.
It came about through eighteen years of trucking. It was time to sort things out in my life, so I lived like a monk with a bad case of mobility. A Bible was my only companion. My journey took me through forty-eight states and half of Canada, then four years of on-again, off-again chemotherapy and eventually a cure for the liver disease that threatened to kill me.
