When one hyena takes the pleasure among his own self of doing the city a severe and great service to his equally benign and highly sacred Crocuta society, one cheetah begins to make her way steadily into the creeping shadows as well; in hopes to join the gnoll warrior by his side, and stand proud and tall against the many prides of teeth, fangs, and claws who want to destroy her town for deeply more than all its truly worth.
