Winter's Leap

Winter's Leap follows the story of Tommy, a young man with mild cerebral palsy. The novel looks into his mind and thoughts as a tragic event befalls him. The novel is full of humour, warmth and sadness by turn, as Tommy tries to find his identity within his family unit, as his family struggle to make sense of Tommy's world.

The reader learns Tommy's deepest concerns and observations about life during his daily routine. Throughout the novel Tommy expresses a longing for his father, who he has never actually met.
