Equations for Finding the Key Points of a Parabola

All of the defining information for a parabola can be derived directly from the parameters (a, b and c) of it's general equation. This brief paper shows how to derive equations for finding the focus (Fxy), the vertex (Vxy), the directrix and the coordinates for the two ends of the latus rectum ( lr1 & lr2).
