Secret Commitment

Tragedy strikes like a bolt of lightning on a clear day, unexpected and devastating. Megan Jamison, collateral damage, a lone survivor, stripped of her courage, and left to seek justice was on a mission to take back control of her life. She put everything on hold and walked away from her home, her career, and her friends. She had a plan, slow down her busy full life, devote her nursing skills to an individual patient and give herself time to heal.

With one mishap after another Megan was forced or manipulated into accepting Emma Price as her employer. Distance helped with the healing process and Emma kept her on her toes. No matter how far she ran she couldn't out distance her nightmares. She knew the only cure was closure but facing her demon required strength that she no longer possessed.

Emma's devoted son, Michael Price, stepped up in his mother's time of need and moved her unwillingly into his home. To appease her inconvenience, he agreed to hire a fulltime nurse. After an eventful start, not one he would soon forget, Megan started to fit into the Price family accepting all the quirks and insanity with a sense of humor.

A not so perfect family and an emotionally damaged nurse help each other find their way through difficult times. There are ups and downs and twists and turns but love and support makes the trip worthwhile.
