My Road to Redemption

There was a little girl living a secret life, a life of repeated abuse, a little girl whose own mother walked off and left her to fend for herself. She lived with these secrets for years never knowing what it was like to love or how to be loved. She went through life as a shadow always following and never doing. She locked herself away in her mind so she wouldn't have to think or cope with everyday life. She felt she had no one to turn to, no one to help her, so she suffered silently.
After years of sorrow and a life darkened by abuse, God introduced Himself in a marvelous way. He offered her a way out of the cloud that covered her from the abuse. He has helped her rise above the abuse and walk in a glorious light paved with His love.
