Navy SEAL DOLPHINS IN VIETNAM

Mothers sing soft lullabies to their infants while lovers dance to songs that are never forgotten. So it is with the dolphin. They are born singing. Their signature whistle is a brief aria recognizable to every dolphin that travels our great oceans. It is built into their spirits and remembered forever.
Commander (SEAL) Steve Mason, Ph.D. has created a dolphin communication system using songs composed of whistle sounding notes allowing his dolphins to better comprehend the tasks requested of them by their Navy SEAL handlers.
These were no ordinary dolphins - they were Alpha Team bottlenose dolphins - the pride of the US Navy SEAL's. Their primary mission was to provide security for US combat ships, docking facilities and fuel storage tanks containing millions of gallons of marine diesel fuel - each an attractive target for NVA sapper divers.
Due to the extreme casualties attributed to heroin addiction, Greg's dolphins were cast into a new role - preventing high-grade Golden Triangle heroin from destroying the minds and bodies of our fighting forces.
