The Boy Without a Tribe

Bobby hadn't wanted to go to that stupid church camp, the one his dad picked out for him. But it would have been infinitely better, safer, and a whole lot less dangerous than what had become the alternative: a quest for survival across a hostile desert, through third-world slums, with terrorists, narco-traffickers and federal police in pursuit. His only friend, a teenage hit man on the run from an infamous drug cartel.
The ordeal, deadly as it is, begins to change him, mold him from the defenseless person he was. Shape him in a way that should he survive, will forever change how he perceives himself, how others perceive him - that is, if he survives.
