A Remnant from the Past

The semitransparent Narf, the last living entity of the first intelligent beings on our planet. He himself doesn't know how old he is, but he estimate at least hundred thousand years. Detective Jack Laurence, had a mar-dream about a tree in a park. He knew the place, it was Walden Lake park. His wife Betty was teasing him about this mar-dream. At work he contacted officer Bruce Lind, and the two drove down to the park. K-9 officer Nick followed them, and his dog Penn was told to sniff around this tree. When Penn got closer to the tree, he refused to go any closer. This has never happened before, said Nick, Penn is refusing a direct order. The twins John and Peter Lang, had been told by an old man, Rutger that if they supplied Narf with bodies, they could take gold, money, and weapons. Both John, and Peter helped to feed Narf, and become a good friend of this ghost being. After many problems had been solved, the end turned out well.
