Louise Bryant on Revolutionary Russia

Louise Bryant visited Russia along with a number of American journalists - in her case for the Metropolitan Magazine and Philadelphia Public Ledger. She later published Six Red Months in Russia (1918) and gave oral evidence to the Bolshevik propaganda Hearings before a subcommittee of the Committee on the judiciary, United States Senate (1919). In this, the centenary year of the Russian Revolution, both accounts are published together for the first time, in the hope that the first-hand experience of what really happened, will prove to be both interesting and informative.
