HEALTH IS NOT A BUSINESS

Governments should regain responsibility for defining the lines of investment in drug research, as they are public goods, and to manage the basic research phase separating it from the phases of production, distribution and sale. Overall, it would be desirable to establish an international management center to coordinate all countries of the World Health Organization with their hospitals and public centers. This agency would have the function of procuring a more rapid and abundant supranational drug research, with criteria of equity and better results.
