The Guardian

When Dr. David Cutler's wife is killed by a drunk driver, he is heartbroken and barely able to function. In a chance encounter, he meets Samantha Simmons and her two small children, Zach and Emma. Homeless and penniless, they are at the mercy of a world which has turned against them. The Guardian is a story of how two individuals, from such different backgrounds, can learn to understand each other, depend on each other, and care for each other.
