LOYAL TO A CHEATER

Keino More Burke is known for his many talents. He was an amazing runner and one of the fastest in his previous high school. Keino was born in Jamaica in the parish of St Mary on June 18th, 1994. His mother Michelle Burke is a very strong, loving and inspiring women who was very strict because she only wanted the very best for her child. In 2006 his mother Michelle Burke moved to the Bahamas and sent for Keino the following year. While in the Bahamas Keino searched for a better life but the journey wasn't an easy one. There was still obstacles in the way, where eventually Keino found a part time job doing yard work but they would threatened to call immigration instead of paying him. After experiencing The Bahamas. Five years later Keino received all his documents but his mother wanted a change in scenery. They eventually migrated to the United States where Keino attended Evans High School. He was one of the most influential student around school. Many people looked up to Keino and others came to him for advice! In the year 2013 he graduated with 49 credits out of the 9 awards he received 5 awards. Keino enjoyed sports very much. He participated in baseball, basketball and soccer .He was also apart of the track and field team but Keino would rather write a poem instead of running a mile. After graduating highschool his mom took sick. This was a very painful moment for Keino because it was always him and his mother She eventually was diagnose with cervical and ovarian cancer. Keino made a sacrifice to put his education on hold just to take care of his mother in her worst time. It was a hard time for Keino. Just the thought of one day, just one day keino would end up losing her.That day eventually came faster than Keino expected. His mother Michelle Johnson passed away on the 4th of January 2016. From that day on Keino has never been the same.
