As a child my father continuously rejected me,
My mother remarried and he rejected me too...
And for whatever reason, I have a few...
My mother withdrew...
Leaving me feeling empty, lost, hurt and confused...
Because the people I love the most hurt me worst than these dudes do...
So I adapted a behavior on a long search...
Looking for love from boys, but didn't find much...
When I found Jesus, He wrapped me in His arms...
He promised to He'd never leave me, or bring me harm...
Now I'm feeling lonely, broken and hurt all at once...
But God is telling me the pain is necessary to learn to pack a punch...
The enemy's always coming, and I can learn to attack him first...
But just in case he hits me first remember Jesus went through worst!!!
