The Bentley Regatta

The town of Bentley sits on the banks of the river Thames and like its near sister town has an annual rowing regatta. But Bentley is a hive of social and financial rivalry, dominated by four families.
This is a tale of the town, its inhabitants and the annual regatta, plus intrigue, murder, blackmail and infidelities that abound. Holly is the central character and is a free spirit who is fortunate to be able to enjoy life in privileged circles. She is an ex-competitive rower, in a failing marriage, to someone she really doesn't know.
A series of unexplained events that took place before and during the annual regatta, creates suspicions and bad feelings amongst the key families. But when a body is found in the river the town is suddenly thrown into turmoil as the police gather closer links towards Holly and the other families and discover so many hidden secrets, and more.
