American Corrections Reform: #?BeforeFreedom

In an era of questioning contemporary practices to manage crime and justice problems, Dr. Garth-James providers a clear and practical guide to understanding that we all of us must become contributors to a strong economy that is rapidly changing through e-Commerce, e-Technology, and e-Education. As a public servant working in corrections at the State Capitol, US Embassy in London, member advisor US Sentencing Commission, and professor of public policy and race, crime and justice courses, she challenges us to think about education and work to help individual offenders achieve reform goals and meet societal expectations.
