J.P. (Jana) Haynes is a Mississippi native born in the small town of Amory, MS. Jana attend Northeast Mississippi Community College, Mississippi University for Women, and her final stop, Mississippi College: the nucleus of her studies being Communications and Mass Media. From writing music, playing the piano and even a two year stint competing in the Miss Mississippi Pageant, Jana's college days were eclectic and each year, a polar opposite of the previous one. After college, Jana considered varied career destinations, including bar tending and account management at a large marketing firm. Her first love, nevertheless was invariably and still remains, writing.
