The English love term used so generally when applied to this spiritual relationship we have with God, seems to have lost its definitive usage
Love, the agape kind, is seen as more than an expression of another word, so a comparison is made between two words (agape and emotion). It is not a study of good versus bad, but an effort to show which is the better description of God's love in the believer.
