When detective Jack Laurence saw the list of suspects, at first he didn't believe it. Chief Bill Smart, wanted to know how Jack had taken the case. This is not s joke, he said, and added officer Bruce Lind can help you. The list of suspects included the Governor, and his family, and even his close associates. With some luck on his side, the governor, and his family had been away at the time this young woman had been killed, and dismembered. Ralph Schmidt, the governors right hand man, had when he saw the detective interviewing everybody, had escaped, and was heading for Mexico. Coming close to the boarder, he saw all the police, and decided to drive to San Diego. Ralph decided to rent a room, and found a Linda Strong. Ralph liked the house, and agreed to rent a room. Linda showed him his room, and said that he could put his plants in the kitchen. When Ralph took out his plants, Linda started to laugh at his plants. Ralph got hold of a knife, and cut her throat.
