As the Sun Killed the World

When the sun was in it regular seven years solar cycle, The first solar flare was noticed, and the regular precautions were taken. Then a second solar flair was noticed, it had been hiding behind the first one. This flare was larger than any recorded solar flare. It was a total; devastation for the people of earth. What killing, stealing, and robbing started totally destroyed our civilization. All electricity, even private solar power were rendered useless. Was this the end of our civilization?
