Jesus and the Gospels: Devotions for Lent

The texts and reflections in this booklet for Lent by theologian Frederick Niedner follow the story of Jesus' passion in a chronological order, from his call to cross-bearing discipleship to the events of the passion narrative and the discovery of the empty tomb. These devotions seek to proclaim the good news of Jesus' life, death and resurrection by drawing on the diversity that comes from having four canonical gospels, thus providing us with a richer understanding of our Savior's sacrifice for us.
