When Candace and Jason meet on an online dating site, it looks like a great match. She claims to be an 'animal behaviorist,' and he describes himself as a 'computer programmer.' But both of them are hedging the truth. Candace does work with animals, as a professional horse player at the New Orleans Fairgrounds; Jason uses his computer to track fugitives for the FBI in Washington, D.C.. And more importantly, both of them are hiding the psychic abilities that make them so good at their work. As they try to sort out the inherent complications of this odd relationship, a new and deadlier threat materializes. Candace's zeal to catch a crooked horse trainer will drag them both into a life-and-death confrontation with a ruthless crime boss and his hired killer.
